Diversity Insects of Spring in Mutis Timau Nature Reserve, TTS District, NTT Province

Insect diversity is believed to be used as a bio-indicator of spring quality, this study aimed at determining the insect around Mutis Timau Nature Reserve. The was conducted from June August 2019. Insects were caught by using yellow pan trap and hand sorting. insects determined based on Shannon-Wiener index (H'), species richness (R1), dominance (D), evenness (E). results showed that 16 belong 11 families, five orders insects. families included Gryllidae, Gryllotalpidae, Tetrigidae, Formicidae, Pompilidae, Apidae, Ochteridae, Veliidae, Hydrometridae, Nepidae, Coenagrionidae, Libellulidae, Carabidae, Coccinellidae. wealth springs classified moderate (H '= 2.12 R1 = 4.19). There no type dominated (D 0.23). All found have almost same level (E<1), with value 0.76. Abiotic factors such pH soil temperature within tolerance range insects. ÂÂ
